Who is responsible
PKBCreates is the independent design practice of Papa Kwesi Buadoo, based in Accra, Ghana. I am the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What I collect
- Enquiries and waitlist requests: your name, email address, project type, event name and any message or details you choose to include. The form composes an email in your own mail app; this website does not store that form data. It reaches me only when you send the email.
- Email correspondence: the content of emails you send me, including your email address and anything you attach.
- Essential browser storage: your privacy choice and a short-lived cache of content already shown on the site. This is described in the cookie policy.
- Hosting and security logs: the hosting provider may process your IP address, browser details, requested URL and timestamp to deliver and protect the site.
I do not ask for payment details, home addresses, identity documents or sensitive data through this site. Please do not include them in an enquiry.
Why I use it
- To reply to you and discuss a project or event. This is based on your consent when you send the form, and on the steps needed to respond to your request.
- To run and secure the site, including preventing abuse and fixing errors. This is based on my legitimate interest in a safe, working website.
- To meet legal obligations where a law requires me to keep or disclose something.
I do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling or advertising.
Third parties and SDKs
There are no analytics, advertising pixels, session-recording SDKs or marketing trackers on this site. The third-party services that can receive data are:
- The hosting provider (currently Cloudflare Pages or Netlify) — content delivery and security. It processes request and security logs.
- GitHub — the content store for the private admin area. Public visitors do not need a GitHub account.
- jsDelivr — delivers the GSAP animation files. A request to jsDelivr necessarily shares your IP address and browser request details with its CDN.
- YouTube / Google — only if you allow media, or click a YouTube link. The embedded player uses
youtube-nocookie.comand is not loaded before your choice. - Luma — only when you follow a link to the event calendar. Luma then handles the data under its own policy.
- My email provider — processes correspondence sent to kay@pkbcreates.com.
I do not sell personal data, rent it, or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
International transfers
Some providers above operate outside Ghana. Where data is transferred internationally, I rely on the provider's contractual and security safeguards and keep the amount of data shared to what is necessary for the service.
How long I keep it
Enquiry and event emails are kept only as long as needed to respond, manage the relationship and meet legal or accounting obligations. When they are no longer needed, they are deleted. The privacy choice stays in your browser until you clear it. The CMS content cache expires after five minutes and is cleared when you close the tab.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask to:
- see a copy of the personal data I hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
- receive a portable copy of data you provided.
Email kay@pkbcreates.com with the subject “Privacy request”. I may need to verify that the request comes from you. I will respond within 30 days where possible.
You can also complain to the Ghana Data Protection Commission if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
Request deletion
You can ask me to delete your enquiry, waitlist request or email correspondence at any time. Use the direct link below:
The link opens a pre-addressed email. Send it from the address you used, or tell me enough to identify the correspondence. I will delete what I am not legally required to keep and confirm when it is done.
Marketing and unsubscribing
I do not run a newsletter or send marketing email from this site. If you receive a studio email and do not want further correspondence, reply with “unsubscribe” or use this unsubscribe link. Any future marketing email will include a clear unsubscribe link.
Children and age consent
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. The enquiry and waitlist forms require you to confirm that you are 18 or older, or that you have a parent or guardian's consent. If you are under 13, please do not submit personal data. If I learn that a child has sent personal data without the required consent, I will delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, a strict Content Security Policy, integrity-checked third-party scripts, a restricted admin area and no frontend secrets. No system is completely secure; if you think you have found a vulnerability, please read the security policy and email kay@pkbcreates.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date will change. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
