The short version
This site sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It uses essential browser storage for your privacy choice and a five-minute content cache. YouTube embeds are optional and do not load until you allow media.
Essential browser storage
pkb-consent-v1(localStorage) — remembers whether you chose “Allow media” or “Essential only”. It stays until you clear browser storage or change your choice.pkb-cms-v1:*(sessionStorage) — caches portfolio, event or book content for five minutes so pages do not re-fetch unnecessarily. It clears when you close the tab.
These are not used to identify you across sites, build a profile or serve advertising. They are necessary for the site to remember your choice and work efficiently.
Optional YouTube media
Two project pages can show a YouTube player. The player is not requested from YouTube until you choose “Allow media” (or press “Allow YouTube” in the player card). The embed uses youtube-nocookie.com; Google may still process technical data and may set storage when the player is used. Your choice can be changed at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer.
Third-party requests
- jsDelivr delivers GSAP; your browser contacts it to load the animation files.
- The hosting provider (currently Cloudflare Pages or Netlify) delivers the site and processes security logs. It may set a short-lived security cookie during a bot challenge.
- YouTube / Google only when you allow the optional player or follow a video link.
- Luma only when you follow an event link; it then uses its own cookies and policy.
There are no advertising networks, social pixels, heatmaps, session recorders or analytics SDKs on public pages.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use the Cookie settings button in the footer on any page. You can also clear site data in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may mean the site asks for your choice again on each visit.
Your browser may also offer a “Do Not Track” setting. This site does not track you across sites, so there is no separate DNT response to switch.
Changes
If the storage or third-party list changes, this page and the banner will be updated. Contact kay@pkbcreates.com with any question.
